***FULL PACK*** to teach the ‘Communicating Information and Ideas’ section of the OCR GCSE English Language course. This pack uses the subject of the Columbine Massacre in 1999 to engage and enthuse the students. I have already used this pack with my own group and they found it really interesting. Please note: this pack enables students to work on the skills needed but only includes 20th century sources for the simple reason that only 20th century sources are relevant for this topic (in the exam students will have texts from 19th, 20th and 21st centuries).
